2. Municipality of José Santos Guardiola

Geographical Coverage: This municipality covers the eastern part of Roatán Island, specifically areas east of First Bight, including Barbareta Island and Santa Elena.

Administrative Center: The municipal offices are situated in Oak Ridge.

Zoning Information: José Santos Guardiola is divided into zones designated for fishing and aquaculture, such as Santa Elena and Barbareta, and economic development zones, including Oak Ridge, Pollytilly Bight, and Punta Gorda.
